NIAH NATIONAL PARK







Niah Cave is a cave in Malaysia’s largest full of history.It is also among the caves of limitstone of the largest in the words.Located about 90 miles or 1 ½ hours from Miri,Sarawak, this cave shows evidence of early human life in this region.

Niah Caves is also one of the oldest caves in the words and has been gazetted as a historic site under the authority of the Sarawak Museum.Niah Caves are formed as coral reafs at the end of the a Maiocene before the lifting movement and eroded earth forming caves.Niah Caves area of 12 hectares and a cave approximately three times the fields of football.In addition to main entrance of Niah Caves, there are 5 other openings with room in back .It is know as Big Mouth, Bone Hole, Hole Burnt, Gan Kira and piled manure pits
